How to enable/disable passenger side sear belt LED flashing?
My vote for buckle the seatbelt. Don't go out as just another statistic. Be smart. Either they buckle, or the car doesn't move. Plain and simple.
If you're still ignorant after our posts, then yes, desolder the led, or black electical tape over it.

^^ my vote for buckling the seatbeat....
the light is there for a reason. unless you have a box laying in your passenger seat... then just put it in the back...
i think in some states YOU (the driver) can be cited for not having the passengers wearing seatbelts... regardless or not you're wearing them yourself.

The clip part though is attached to the airbag sensors.
I think if it's removed, there are no more airbags.
Not really sure about being buckled up on the passenger side if that affects the airbag or not.

If you have a passenger I vote for them to buckle up..
That is the best thing to do.
I have no airbags in mine at all. The drivers one has been removed as well as the passenger one. The only one in mine is the knee one, just cause I havent got under there and removed it yet.

^ How would it know if there was 85 pounds on the seat? the sensor will enable consistent Volt on/ 0 off at an amount of less than 10 lbs.
I don't believe that info is accurate...
I'm not sure, but I would think that if the seatbelt it buckled, it'd go off.
I just disconnect that sensor when I put in my seats and left the seatbelt sensor connected.
