x2 black then clear. Keep putting medium coats on and make it EXTRA SHINEY! if you want you can wetsand and buff. Just dont let the clear dry for a few hours and put another coat of clear on. It will crackkkkkkk

Yes. So instead of me spending all that time sanding those pieces down and re-painting them; I can scuff up my OEM silver interior and do yours. Less work for me.

I wasn't actually planning on changing the color... just wanted to add a ginormous amount of gloss and mirror shine to it... but heck if I know... that's the reason I had to ask the question... come on, I'm not exactly a pro at this... you've seen my rims...

Joyride, you need to get off your high smurf. You think you're some sort of joke god and to be honest, I've heard your material.....it sucks. Time for you to man up and crack jokes to my face.

okay... 2 quick questions... 1. how hard is it to do the full "rattlesnake" like in the link you did on the previous page (from the current state of my interior) to the motorcycle parts? (if it's less work for you then starting from scratch on it) and 2. have you started on your conversion to SCM/BSP? ..... I do like that full dark maroonish rattlesnake (would match decent).... and also I'm **** when it comes to rattles/squeaks... so concerned about fitment using parts on mine from another car....
What do you think on these?
thanks.

If I can manage to clean (and clay) my car for the first time in two months (I know, I know...) perhaps I can make it to a flippin' meet or two before the summer is over... lol...
Dude.. you better be there tomorrow. Sonic's off of Lemon in Fullerton, be there!

1. Not hard at all, I just got to sand most the clear off. We all know by now that if you spray paint or clear for that matter on an already dry clear coated item....it will crack. So I have to sand EVERYTHING down, clean it off, spray a black base coat over it, lightly fan a clear over it (to make it tacky), then lightly mix the pearl in the clear, fan it over the pieces, and apply the final coat of clear to bring out that glossy shine.

2. I have not started on the SCM/BSP conversion. Planning on doing that after work tomorrow. I doubt my pieces in your car will cause squeaks or rattles.

well that link you had....those pics definitely show a lot of crimson in them.... eventhough they change color some....which to me I think would complement the SCM exterior...
