Default How to secure a wedge box to the tC trunk

I've got a wedge box holding an eD 13Ov.2 that sits flush with the back seat of my tC. How should I secure it to the trunk so it doesn't slide around/move/fly/attack me during hard corners/braking, or even potentially an accident? The trunk floor is far too thin and weak to support the box, and I can't use L-brackets because of the wedge shape. Any suggestions?

So far the best method Ive done is to use some industrial strength velcro. I just attached it to the plastic part to the enclosure and so far thats has done the trick. Now whenever I pull a fast u-turn it doesnt slide around so much.

2 short screws through the little flip-flap behind the seatback into the box will hold it in place witr no problems. It holds mine, and with the pair of Infinity Perfects, the box weighs about 65lbs.

Drill the holes near the edge where the carpet covers the board, and when you take the screws out, no one will ever know they were there.

Im not familiar with what box you have but one way, that will not leave any holes and will be stronger than the backboards, is to use the child restraint connections on the deck and strap around the box on each end somehow. If you do not want to go around the box then maybe a small bracket on the back to strap through.

What kind of screws would be best to use here? I have some 1" drywalls (box is 3/4" MDF, the flap is les s than 1/4") Or should I go buy some panheads or some other kind of screws?

I'm using 3/4" long truss head. Any 3/4" should do the trick.
