How is the stock subwoofer hooked up?
A question...
I have a 2008 tC and I'm going to put the stock subwoofer/amp back into the car.
It was replaced with a custom box, but now I'm gonna have the factory one put back in.
How was it wired up originally? Doesn't it come tapped into the stereo's Rear signal?
I know there was some funky little plug that connected to the amp on the factory sub enclosure, so once I hook that back up, should it work correctly? (assuming that the rear speakers are getting a signal)
What about the power for the amp? Is the stereo signal and power all part of that one plug?
Thanks in advance...

frankly, I don't know off the top of my head... Buuuuut if I was in your shoes, I'd hit up the dealership and see if nice counter guy would print off the dealer install instructions from his computer.
After all, the plugs are just a nicety. If you know the colors, you can hardwire it in.

I was asking about where that plug leads to,.. whether or not
it was run up to the head unit or just feeding off the rear speaker's signal.
