Default How is your sound quality with amp running from stock radio?

I got rid of my Alpine radio cause i found someone who would actually pay me what I paid for it its 5 months old. So I put the stock radio back in and was wondering if anybody has it hooked up to amps with some kind of rca hook up?I think its called line out converter. I already can tell the differance from switching back to the stock radio but dont want to buy a new one cause I'm gona save up for Alpine IVA-W200
tv dvd player. I just want to know if the sound quality that bad. I want to hook my amp and subs back up mean while. THanks in advance

maybe you should wait more than like 40 mins for a response.

the stock radio is ok. it doesn't have much bass to it, but the highs and mids are decent. add a sub and you should be fine.

don't forget to change the sound level to "feel" and the car type to "xA". the one labeled tc is super weak and the xB is good, but xA has the loudest and fullest range.

They will sound good. I have a sub and amp hooked up to my car right now and it sounds pretty good. Bass is set to -3 and I'm running 500 watts.

I just used the high level inputs(tapping into speaker wire). I didn't want to do that part so I took it to a local shop and they put it in for $30. They also tuned it and hid everything.
