their new imprint decks i'm not a fan of. i love the h701 and c701 and its relatively easy to use compared to their new stuff and they don't have a dvd player thats compatible with their imprint stuff yet so i'll keep this. as far as no center channel is i don't have a need for true 5.1 its not a 5.1 build its sq quality build. typically 5.1 and sq do not go hand in hand. i'm not even running rear speakers so putting a center channel would be retarded. the duraglass is next but i dunno if you can tell or not but the plastic is taken down with like 30 gritt before any resin was applied so there shouldn't be a problem. finishing will be mainly melted plastic.

well after a weekend off spending time with the woman and some of the guys at eD i got to some sanding today. Not much to show, i went to napa and they were out of duraglass so i have to wait till tomorrow to get some so not much will be done today but you can see the progress, its much more smooth.

yep it looks fine. the biggest issue is the sunroof but those can be closed quite easily

 

Hey guys, sorry for my noobishness, but what is the need for two headunits? And is the monitor for like a overall view of the system? I apologize, I've just never seen anything of this sort before...

 

i talked about it in the last page, read the thread. the monitor is to watch dvd's and play games.

 

its cause he's 1337.

 

threw on a thin coat of primer and then really wanted to figure out where i had spots. the duraglass came in today and i put the first coat on. its really starting to smooth out nicely and after a couple sand / fillers i should be able to do more primer and start some rage finishing. oh well here are pics from yesterday and today

the monitor only sticks up about 3 inches to where you'd notice. its actually perfect angle and height. i'll have pictures of it in the dash hopefully by the weekend

 

surprising, thats no worse then my scan gauge and radar. cant wait to see the car pics!
