Are there a lot of tc's in junkyards? and how does the price system work? do they charge u for each part or by weight? I've never been to junkyards, but I might wanna try for some parts like hatch garnish or interior pieces.

 

They have them priced out in their computer sorting system, well the ones I have been to do, they are usually the same for all cars, they look up the part type and give you a quote, some places charge and arm and a leg, depending on the condition of the part you are after.

Yeah recycle road in rancho is heaven. I know the TAP up there has some Scions but i'm not sure about the other Toyota yards up there. They literally have a yard for every major automotive manufacturer.

 

I know! Its crazy, good resource though. haha

 

i went to a local scrap yard and picked one up for 90$ for an entire HVAC unit...so now i have the screen from an 05 tC on my 07 HVAC unit but hey as long as it works its fine.
