I have the Eclipse MDV-08D update disc - Just came out
I have the Eclipse MDV-08D disc.
This is the latest update disc with maps as of December 2006. They are calling this one version 2.2 - The disc is compatible with these models only:
AVN2454, AVN5435, AVN5500, AVN6600, AVN20D, AVN30D, AVN50D and the AVN51D

how do i download from a newsgroup, i know how to use torrents but not newsgroups, i have android automatic newsgroup downloader but no clue how to do it.

hi,
I have just download it and tried it out on my AVN5435 but I as soon as I put the disc in, it took over and upgrade everything and then asking for MAP DISC. It will do nothing any more. My old disc doesn't work either...... I had ESN "ON" when I put the DISC in it.
Is there a specific way i have to burn this thing in order for this work?
Any idea would be great. My AVN5435 is dead in the water right now.......

Did you try disconetcting power to the radio.

ya.. done that several times. Keeps stuck at the insert disc.

i googled mdv-779d and there are alot of torrent sites.
has to be burnt onto a dual layer dvd.
i'm a caveman when it comes to computer stuff so ill ask one of the IT guys at work to do it for me and hopefully make copies for anyone who needs it.
i just got the avn52d / avn5510, does your nav suck at giving directions or am i doing something wrong? it always gives me the longest route for some reason.

anyone know where i can find a copy of MDV-09D? (for the AVN6600) all the torrent links for that are fake, lol
