Default I need constant power

I was looking for a wire that can give me constant power for my underbody kit even when the the car is completely off. should i tap into the clock's power? if so, which wire would it be because there are a thousand different wires.

Take the two screws out of the steering column and the bezel will come off and you can easy access the Ignition wires.. If you turn the steering wheell to the left and right it will expose the 2 screws that are facing out..

I think you should run your own dedicated line. It's safer. This is because stock lines are rated for only so much amperage. If this amount of amperage is exceded, it can cause the wire to heat up, or at worst, start on fire. It won't simply blow the fuse because there is resistance in the line. In any case, running a seperate, dedicated, fused line, is almost always best!

New wire run off battery.

Switch inline on the wire.

Fuse on the wire.

Pretty simple really.

If you've put in an aftermarket HU, and the current draw isn't too much, you could tap into the constant power wire going to the radio and add a switch there.

Or find something in the fuse box that's a constant.

the xB has a small fuse panel under the left side of the dash that has constant and switches power positions for an additional fuse. Your tC should have something like that also.
