I NEED HELP!!!! from audio experts
Okay im getting component speakers from infinity. Im getting the infinity perfects, in front and behind the seats. Im also getting a infinity basslink t(i know its already amped). I need to know what kind of amp i can use to make more power to these speakers... Im gonna be using the stock radio what can i do? or what do i need to make these speakers sound better...
You need to know how much power each side of the components can handle. You'll also need to know what impedance (measures in ohms) the components are. This information will help all of us find a good amp for you.
If I were you, I'd save the money from the rear speakers and spend it on front components and an amp...

I agree.. You need to the know the RMS power of the speakers you are wanting to amplify. alot of the component speakers read 4 ohms at the crossover. You could do a decent 4 channel amp, that way you have channels for the front and rear or you can do a 2 channel amp and power just the fronts and use your headunits output for the rear speakers. You want your front speakers to be dominent over the rears anyway. The front stage is the most important.

I agree with them both they are correct without knowing the max wattage or even knowing the RMS of the speakers you cant decide on an amp.. You need to know what kind of power you can push to these speakers without popping them.. First things first find the specs on the speakers then take it from there..
You really need to get a deck with a decent set of outputs. Using a line out converter is not a way to get good sound from any amp. Just my .02. Especially if you are getting some good speakers like the ones you talked about. Good luck

Okay reason im going with infinity speakers and im not trying to get a new deck is because i need to buy the speakers this month to get free shipping, and theyre already 50% off. these are the specs for the infinity perfects... Power Handling, RMS 100 Watts
Power Handling, Peak 400 Watts
Frequency Response (±3dB) 80Hz - 23kHz
Sensitivity 89dB
Impedance 4 Ohms
Crossover Frequency(ies) 3.5kHz, 24dB/oct
Mounting Depth 2-1/4" Perfect Mid-woofer, 1" Perfect tweeter
Because the rear speakers are bigger than the front are they gonna overpower the front and sound weird or what? So i will need a 4 channel amp, but how many watts do i need so i wont blow them but push them enough?

I can also get these: Power Handling, RMS 125 Watts
JBL brand
Power Handling, Peak 500 Watts
Frequency Response (±3dB) 58Hz - 21kHz
Sensitivity (2.83V @ 1m) 88dB
Impedance 4 Ohms
Crossover Frequency(ies) 3.5kHz, 24dB/oct
Mounting Depth 2-3/8" Woofer, 1-1/8" Tweeter Lemme know which is better

Go with the JBL's.... from the looks of what you posted, the JBL's will drop lower in the frequency range...
Hifonics... good inexpensive amps...
150 watts per channel into 4 ohms: $199
http://www.woofersetc.com/index.cfm?...Product_ID=225
100 watts per channel into 4 ohms: $170
http://www.woofersetc.com/index.cfm?...Product_ID=223
Either would work well....I'd probably go with the 150x2 @ 4ohm for those JBL's....since they have some rediculous Max power like 500 watts or something....
