Just threw 2 pairs in my car.

why do people always bash other peoples stuff?
jeez!

I know you didnt mean to bash intently but everyone always says "hey I just spent $300 on some components and I really like the way they sound"
and someone will say "you paid to much " or " the tweeter sucks the only way you will like the setup more is if you spend another 150 on new tweets"

People need thicker skin in this forum. Constantly telling people "great job" or "thats really cool" doesn't really help people but only strokes people's egos. In my profession those kinds of comments don't do any good to the final product. Constructive criticism helps generate more insightful questioning and thinking.

Many years ago I also bought a pair of Infinity components. I read the reviews on Crutchfield and they all gave their good praises. But I too was disappointed in the harshness of the tweeters and lack of midbass. Looking back I would have appreciated the feedback from someone like Tcguy85, because it gave 2 sides of the story. When I look at reviews now, I look at the negative ones first and then look at the ones that are more insightful with comments like what did they like or dislike about the product. Criticism or "Bashing" as you call it, can be helpful in this way.

thanks. :-)

i was also going off of personal experience. i had a set of the "top of the line" infinity comps, the Kappa Perfect 6.1 set. at first i liked them but later realized they weren't so nice. just voicing my opinion.

but if he likes them then great! different strokes for different folks.
