So I didn't have much to do and I just happened to have this sitting around so I decided to install it.

Nice install, does the door close, I installed a 7" and had to remove the inside of the door to get it to work, and had to cut a little of the stock houseing..

 

install was way too easy, and the door closes, but depending on how you push on it, I have to watch with it hitting the volume button.

Haha it was just sitting around, it came out of my old cavalier, so I finally went out yesterday and got the stuff to install it.

No I didn't take any pics of the door closed, I was showing off the indash not door lol.

I just got the metra 95-8202 and the metra harness and used the stock mounting brackets not redrilled.

 

thats a great looking deck..ive had great luck with pioneer decks..enjoy it!

i installed the double din kenwood w/ nav and i got my door to close and open flawlessly, i had to modify the door but it is not noticable. i had to pull it apart and cut the black piece behind the silver part of the door (technical term ;) )

i can post pics tomorrow if there is anyone who would like to see...

the red arrows are pointing to where i cut out in between the vertical red lines....i cut all the way to the rubber nub, if you cut that crap out of the way the door sits flush when u close it and it opens freely...ull thank me later
