Default installing a sub..

I plan on installing a sub here at the local place. (Senor stereo) Im not sure how the process is for installing.. I have the stock stereo and just wanted to add a Nice Amp and 12 in. sub in case. Will they have to take apart the whole car to reach the back or anyone know how this process is? Should I take a DIY for gutting the car? Im confused..
TIa. You guys own.
<-- noob.

I put my amp and sub in my car at my house. It requires minimal tools. Basically I used a wire stripper, pliers, screwdriver, 10, 12, and 14mm sockets. You dont have to completely gut the car, allthough I took out my center console and passnenger seat to hide wires and my amp. But no, you do not have to take apart the entire car to put a sub/amp in. I followed direction from the how to gut and eDead your car DIY on here for a step by step tear down of my center console and such. Basically my wires run allong my door sill the under the cup holders by my backseat, then come out from under and connect to the back of my sub. Pretty straight forward, the only tricky part was the power wire, I couldnt get mine through the fire wall at first, then I figured it out.

1) The ONLY way for you to void the warranty is if the aftermarket parts are the DIRECT cause of the warrantied part's failure.

2) ANY reputable shop should give you some type of warranty for their work. To be safe: take pictures of all your trim pieces, door sills, and engine bay BEFORE going to the shop. this way, if they mess anything up, you have proof. Make sure the pictures are timestamped/dated as well.

They should be compotent enough for a simple install like you're having...
