hey.. ummm.. im scared to tap into my battery to get these lights going.. anyone got any advice for me? seriously... im like.. horrified of even touching my battery, let alone tap into it... unless theres another way to do this.. someone!

uMmm.. yeah.. i tried that earlier with the LEDS i have now.. and now the lights work, but the cig lighter doesnt..

exactly how dangerous is it to tap into the battery directly?

 

not dangerous... but it'd fuse it so you don't blow anything up.

why would you be scared?

 

its not like ur drilling a hole in your battery

 

It's no problem getting power from your battery... that's what it's there for! (That, and to start your car).

As Squal said, be sure to fuse it with a proper amperage fuse.

I finally finished spECIal's car.... so...many...lights! Lol!

I took pics, I'll post them. Maybe you can get some ideas from them.
