Default Interior Photoshoot

Well I don't think anyone on here knows what my interior looks like since I've done some work to it, so I thought I would go out on this pleasant Michigan evening and have a little shoot :-)

these are my interior mods so far: IS300 pedal swap, Doctor Isotope GearSwitcher (2" height reduction), red accent lighting, white accent lighting connected to the dome light circuit, red led swap, painted interior pieces (BSP door handles and waterfall center, Duplicolor Red Metal flakes waterfall sides and steering wheel trim)

enjoy:

and as long as I'm posting pics...

wow I cant believe there are already Xmas lights up in places...

let me know what you all think

my future plans for my interior include a double din touchscreen head unit and maybe a Greddy rear strut tower bar....

looks good man and the paint looks good as well, looks similiar like my interior with the red lights but i got BSP painted pieces if you get a double din then get it with the navi and get rid of the navi on the window, overall i like.

thanks for the compliments guys

I got the accelerator pedal off eBay, and i think i got the brake and clutch pedals online from some toyota parts dealer. The break and clutch pedals are a direct fit but the accelerator pedal had to be retro fitted on.

The guages came orange, I had the leds swapped to red (thanks Sean!!)

Oh and about the head unit I was actually leaning toward the Pioneer AVH-P4000. It doesn't have
navi.... I like being able to take my navi in other cars, and more importantly I really like the garmin interface and mapping. Are there any Pioneer units that use Garmin software?

Well I used flexible LED strips from Oznium.com. in each footwell there is a long strip of white LEDs that is wired into the Dome circuit so that they light up when the doors are opened. On either side of the white strips there are to shorter strips of red LEDs that are wired to a switch on the dash.

I just ran out and took some pics for you:

doors open; switch on:

doors closed, switch on.

doors open switch off:

....the circuit for the white strips also has a switch in it just incase I want open door pictures with just the red lights...

the black switch controls the red LED's, the chrome one is a second switch to the white ones (the first one being the door switches)

whew okay hoped that helped, let me know if you have any more questions :-)

AcidDrop, help me choose a head unit: https://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=242240

If I had auto I would just go with the OBX pedals because the IS300 are only better than that set in that the gas pedal has a heel-toe tab which is very nice for manual but useless in automatic
. However if you really like the look of the IS300 pedals enough to justify the work and price of getting em on, go for it...

buy this accelerator pedal:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/LEXUS...es#ht_2485wt_0

and this brake pedal:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/LEXUS...es#ht_2485wt_0

You have to remove the pedals from the shafts they come on. Im pretty confident that the brake pedal is just a cover and will just pull off the IS300 shaft and fit right on the tC's brake pedal shaft. Getting the accelerator pedal off the IS300 shaft is a bit more involved.

see Michachu's write up:
https://www.scionlife.com/forums/vie...7feda41ca77b51

now the tC's rod is a bit thicker so you will have to shave the back and drill out the part that wraps around it to make room.

lemme know if you need any more help :-)

Very clever on the floor lighting, I like how you did that. I will probably do blue and white. White when the doors open and blue for when I am driving around and the ladies want some mood lighting. Anyway, I like it allot! Good job man!

Which wire did you tap into to do the accent lighting? I know somewhere near the dome lights but which one?

got the pedals today, 45 minute install...

i didnt shave the rod, i just kinda shoved it on there, it "shaved" the back of the pedal as it when on and that was it.

thanks for the help!
