Well make a long story short, I broke off that foam that sits behind the Interior rear quarter panel trim, can the foam be replaced or does the whole panel have to be replaced?

 

If you mean the foam that is on the back side of the panel,no biggie.......I took out all of mine when I deadened the car last year......panels go right back on fine with out it.

 

has anyone tried to replace these panels or get replacements?

 

If you really want to use the foam, you could just glue it back together, spray-on contact cement should work fine.

 

well i only bumped this thread because i needed to replace the entire trim, not the foam.

 

foam is not a problem.
replacing the whole panel is easy. pop the old one of and pop the new one on.
its just held on my clips like all the other ones.
you can find them on ebay from time to time but usually theyre only sold in sets.
you can also find them at junkyard occasionally.
should be around $50-$75 for 1 side.

it got scratched while i was trying to reinstall everyone after i replaced my windows...it never ends.....I hate it that im **** about these little things.

i know it sucks but stuff happens, its fine.
Im starting to realize that I should not put so much effort into material things. Gave me a good idea though. Im either going to try to get the top part covered with carbon fiber or place stickers all over it.

for me it seems to come in waves. Couple weeks ago, a person pushed a cart into my car at wal mart luckily didnt do anything, someone scratched my door with a bookbag or something at school, then driving home a rock shot up and cracked my window.

But after a few scratches and other stuff in the beginning of owning it i have started not to worry about it as much. I used to get really upset and mad.

 

yea..i will honestly admit, when i saw the scratch...i swore like 50 times. haha same word

no the interior trim, on the rear. Its literally one of the most expensive parts to buy on the vehicle. it amazes me because its just plastic with a few clips. The trim cost 500+new and it even cost more then the exterior part of the door. Sad...I have no idea why this part is so much new. The lowest price i found was still around 400.
