Default Interior Scratches in TC

Hey, while installing my stereo I had to ended up scratching up the center console (metalic part). I know that there is touch paint for the exterior of the car but what about the interior? Is there any way to fix these scratches? Thanks.

Or is there a part number for the center console?

as an installer... scratching these dashes... its the end for you...

you cna get it color matched at an autobody shop.... but touch ups on abs plastic with a paint dip usually sticks out like a soar thumb... your bast bet is to either go back to scion and pay a million dollars to get a new one... or take it all apart... VERY CAREFULLY.... and sand it to the black...(abs plastic) and paint it all over again....

otherwise... just stick with the scratches...

HAHA, I work right accross the street from you at BBY. I am in the bay, I do most of the custom installs there. How funny!

someone mentioned a dash kit. There are some nice but kinda pricey ones made from real carbon fiber on ebay. They even have it in silver fiber too. If it's a pain to fix it, might as well cover it up with something unique.

You know, you could remove and repaint the whole silver dash area. But the replacement pieces are not all that expensive. You might try just ordering replacements of the scratched parts from your dealership.

I replaced my shift display recently (the silver part under the shifter on an automatic), and the part only cost me $30.00.

Easy install, too.

Can I get the part number for the shifter? I need a new one too.
