Question Ipod Adaptor

I have a 2009 tc, and the adaptor in the console is something I've never seen. Anyone know where I can find the ipod connector that fits? Attached is a pic of it.

i'm not sure but it might be the scion oem ipod cable. search it up on ebay. i know those fit into the back of premium headunits but not sure about the center console. they are both 16 pin.

I have one. They're $50-80 on eBay and probably more at your dealership.

$30 shipped and it's yours. if you Paypal me tonight I will ship it first thing tomorrow morning.

just curious, there's another ipod wire on ebay that doesn't seem to be OEM but also has a white 16 pin plug at the end for a cheaper price. what's the difference? the cheaper one says it plugs into the back of the radio. don't see how come it doesn't work with the center area unless the 16 pin plug have different shapes.

As you suggest, the two connectors are different shapes so that cable won't work unless you disconnect the stock harness and run that cable directly from the back of the radio to wherever you want to plug in your iPod/iPhone.

Yeah the other cable is an alternative cable if you don't already have the harness. You can use it but you will have to disconnect the stock harness. I personally like to keep things stock because to me they work better. I dunno if the aftermarket cord charges your device, might be something to ask about.

If you want my interface cable I will ship it the day after you send payment. Just let me know.
