if you dont have the ipod upgraded radio you will need a stereo 1/8" chord that you can purchase for $5 from radion shack to hook into your headphone jack and the other end to the aux jack. the quality is not too bad but if you crank it you will hear a little static.

Did you get the iPod-compatible stereo option, or not?
If yes, the cable is in your glovebox.
If not, it will now cost you ~$500 to get it installed.

Why did you get the Belkin? The adapter provided is fine???
Anyway, depending on the iPod, you reset different ways.

The cable is Black. I don't have my Nikon - my wife took it this morning...
It's the standard Apple Dock connector on one end, and the Square Plug on the other - about 1"x1/2".
Mine was in the glove box - did you look there?
I have the plastic bag with the part # - I will go get that info...

I was not able to pick my car up when i bought it because i was at work. I sent my mother down with a list of option that i wanted. They told her that they sold all the 06 with the Ipod Hu, which they were wrong since i dont HAVE ONE!!!!!! Thanks for all the help thought. Im just going to buy an audio cable for the time being.

Default iPod Capable radio connector cable

Does anyone have an idea where I can get a new iPod connector cable for the iPod-ready '06 xA? The one that came with the car is WAY too long and I'd like just a short dumpy one, that will not interfere with the E-brake when I have the ipod connected and laying next to the brake. I've searched many posts on here and noone discusses this, and I can't seem to find a cable with the correct ends online anywhere.

Thanks for any help or even suggestions as to where I might go to get one (even if I have to have it custom-made).

Why do you have the iPod outside of the console?
You can't control the iPod when it's connected...

the iPod only sits in the center console for the tC. on the xB and xA it sits in a hole in the center area that the xBs and xAs have. a long cord would get in the way for them.

i actually found a pic of that area! kinda small but you see whats going on there.

the cord for the tC isnt long at all, and its the same connectors, prolly what the guy is looking for.

Why not just buy an ipod interface? You can pick up one for pretty cheap and hook right up to the HU. Looks up "pioneer ipod interface" on ebay and check em out.
