Default ipod problem

i just got a ipod today and got a question for anyone. Im using the stock pioneer system and connecting through the aux in the glove compartment. For some reason only the driver side speakers are working. I have the right cable, but if i pull it out slightly from the ipod all the speakers work fine. Once i push it all the way in again only the left side works.??????

it sounds like you got a problem with the internal wires that hook up the head unit. take it to your dealer and they should be able to cover the problem. theres something malfunctioning inside the speaker setup

the cable you use from your headphone jack should have 2 rings on it. it should look something like this..

notice the two rings on the sleeve. hope this helps.
the cable is $5.50 from radioshack :D

make sure both sides of the cable have two rings, I hooked up a ipod the same way in my girlfriends xa (and it works fine) and I had one cable that had stereo on one side and mono on the other, that didnt work, had to get one with stereo on both ends.

Maybe it's the Ipod, take it back to the store and explain the problem.

try hooking another device or another ipod with the same cable. if it is the same then it is the Aux jack. it should be a stereo jack. take it back N get it fixed.
