Ipod question

Default Ipod question

I might be picking up an ipod mini for 100$ from a friend, but does the ipod get charged by the tC while its im using it? ( though ipod connector, not aux input)

If the car is running or the battery is on, then yes, the iPOD gets charged.

Actually, that's incorrect I believe. At least in my case, the iPod does NOT charge, but it does not drain the battery either. I believe that cable allows it to run off the car battery, hence why it clicks on and off as your battery is on and off.

if it didnt charge then the iPod would eventually die... u use energy in order to rotate the hardrive when u play songs, so it does use energy, but the iPod cable does charge...

It charges mine. In fact, I don't ever use my plug-in charger. I use my iPod, then put it back in the car and by the time I get back home it's charged again.

try on a computer or the wall plug. if it doesnt charge dont buy it.
