i'm going to replace my 3 year old eclipse cd5000. being a poor college student my budget is <$300 for the whole shebang.

i want to move from playing music off of cds to playing music off of usb flash drives. i'd like to be able to switch out flash drives if it's a front access usb port (kinda sorta like an 8 track). if it's rear access then i'd like to run an extension line into my glove box and play off of a laptop external hard drive.

bluetooth would be nice but hardly necessary.

sq is a must and i'll be running an alpine mrp-f550 4 channel amp and a jl 250/1 so preamp outputs are also a must. i have steering wheel controls so i'll need an adapter unless i stick with the eclipse brand.

suggestions please!

 

I have the Pioneer FH-P8000BT and it is amazing. I think it's around 280 dollars and has everything you're looking for. It comes with a usb extension cable to hook up your hard drive and it has built in bluetooth. I love everything about mine.
