i know that many have done it but i have to say they came out awesome.. only thing is i need to know what kind of ink or pain can i use to paint my needles so that they stand out in red? any one?

take thinner to strip the orange off then take a red permanent marker and color the needle. might sound ghetto but it works. and when you look at it it won't look like it was done with marker

 

That looks really good.. nice job.

 

MUCH better option. Go to Wal-Mart to the craft section, pick up some acrylic paint, $1 in a little 1 oz. bottle. I used metallic red for the last gauges I did. Acetone the needle backing off, repaint.

You'll need to take the needles apart though.

 

Very nice. I am hoping to get up the courage to do mine in red one of these days. Good luck on the needles.

That looks nice. I changed mine a few months ago and i just wanted to know if your airbag light stayed on after you were finished?

 

Airbag light shouldn't stay on. If it is, check the connection under the seat/take it to a dealer...definitely shouldn't be on.
