Ok look .. i've had this unit installed for a year now in my tc. This unit does'nt come with navi, you have to buy a whole different unit thats compatibale to connect to it. Only thing is that this unit is like 600-800 dollars. Anyone know something else i can connect to it, some sort of like universal navigational system that has RGB cables to run to it?? If so can you give me the name, price, and website of it..?
Thanks,
Roland

the problem with that is it would be video only, no touchscreen to operate. unless you got a unit that was remote control...but who wants to pick up a vcr remote in a passenger car?
just get the nav unit, it's a great investment.

this is a little bit off topic but how happy are you with this dvd player. i'm looking at the kenwood system. also with this system can you wire the dvd to play while you are driving

had it for almost 2 years. love it. yes you can ground the wire so it will play dvd's while in motion. Good to ground also so you can play with the nav unit while in motion too.
The nice thing about the DVD is that it also plays mp3s. So you can burn a DVD with about 1000 songs and let it run on random. browsing through folders is a waste.
