so I was driving on the freeway with my driver window down and started smelling a weird air circulating inside the car. It's like the BBQ stuff, I swear. The tC is stock. I just have the StreetGlow bulbs for my low beams. What is the problem ?

if you have that smell come up again just turn on the air recirc. button and it should do the trick. u dont need to run the a/c.

NO dudes, I'm not kidding. The smell comes out from the vent and stays for a few seconds. This only happens when I'm on freeway/highway and the car has only 4000 miles. I also just changed the oil at the dealer too.

 

Maybe... you are driving past a KFC

if you think there is an issue - you can buy a filter to put in so you are only smelling filtered air. The actual filter holder is there but toyota doesnt put a filter in. I think it might be behind the glove box.

to figure that-- yes as you are driving with your windows down,
occasionally you will encounter smells from your surroundings.

You pass a HUGE pile of crap --> You'll probably smell crap.
You pass a dead skunk --> You'll probably smell skunk.
You pass a KFC --> You'll probably smell chicken.
