Default leather seat and SAB

Hi, may I only have the driver's seat changed to leather from Toyota with being charged less?
And how do I know whether my tc has SAB, any sign?

I am new to here as well as to scion. Thanks for help!

relax.. dont hate on the noob.

talk to your dealer about changing the drivers seat only to leather since its the dealer offering leather seats, not scion. they should only charge you the price for one seat.

and chances are, ur tc has side airbags. just look on ur a or c pillar saying srs side airbags or something like that

yes the side air bags are in the side bolster of the seat. the side curtains are in the headliner by both side windows. depending on the stitching they do, the air bags might not work in the seat. and when they go, they'll inflate and instead of shielding you, could end up pushing you forward.

orangesuburban- you're not off, there is a tag on the models with the side air bags.

if the car has the curtain air bags, they also have them in the seat. it's a whole system.
