ah, so those white wires *will* stretch. fun stuff ^^

i still prefer running 4 sets, or 1 per footwell. the way i run it where there's 2 cathodes under each seat, and 1 cathode per front footwell, that lets me leave 1 package of cathodes unopened. these are spares incase someone is a gorilla and kicks one.

Got my cathodes done today. I went ahead and double side tapped the ones in the trunk and put two of the 6inch on each side. I took pics of under the seat and will post those with night shoots tonight. The seats were really easy to take out and mount the tubes. I thought they'd be a lot harder.

Here's some pics...

Seats are gone!

This is what it looks like under the seat after install. Pretty clean if I do say so myself.

Back view

Double side tape.

Back

The lights under the seat don't give off as much light as I thought. You can see on the left with the seat all the way up and no tilt it shows good. The right side with it back half way and tilted the way I like it doesn't show as much light. The top of the seat creates a shadow.

paul, i had that same exact problem. what you have to do is make the cathodes hang slightly lower. what i did was double sided tape the cathodes one on top of each other, and then ziptie that assembly from the bottom of the seat. the double high cathode brick hung low enough to illuminate everything.

also, if you look under the seat there's little clip stretchy thingies holding the cloth on the lower back part of the seat tight. you can see them in your second picture (the clips themselves are directly underneith the cathode). move these clips to the next mesh bar thingy towards the middle of the seat (and thus making the cloth tighter).

doing both these mine work fine

if it doesnt work, i can fix it at the old town show in a month :-P
