they look real nice how many 5mm pre-wired LED's should i use just to do the vents like you did

 

Normally only 1LED per vent works fine. Its bright enough to look great but not overdone to blind you. Some people have done 2 per vent but its way to annoying to look at. I recommend 1 per vent. And mount them safely so they dont fall all over or wiggle around. I drilled and mounted mine in evenly.

4 yes, extra no, unless you wanna do the cup holders also..

 

yea 4 is enough unless you want the cupholders done and other places in the car. then i would buy more. But i might purchase 1 or 2 more to be safe.

i would go with oznium. They are the only people i have experience with and they are great people along with their service. Plus, they have a cheaper price than randode.

 

I agree with the others. 4 should do it for the vents. And oznium FTW!

I like the cup holder lights, not such a big of the air vent lights though.

 

All i have left to do as lighting goes in my interior is a LED swap of my Gauges,HVAC,Radio,Steering Wheel Radio Controls, and Door Locks, but at the moment i have no clue what to use.

just one more question, is it possible to wire up the vent leds to the same switch that turns on the cathodes and cup holder leds, or do they stay on constantly, or do i need to get a seperate switch

YES YES YES. Trust me, get more. Once you do the vents, you'll want to do more. And once you do more, you'll want to do even more! It's gets maddening! The unexpected is that you'll really get carried away in trickin' it out.

Seriously though, you won't need extras for bad ones, you'll need extras b/c once you start, you'll get that itch, and crave to do more. You'll spend time thinking of new places to put them. I first bought 4, then I bought 4 more, now I'm going to buy like 10 more.

If you buy a lot at once, you'll save money in shipping. (same flat rate each order no matter the quantity) But trust me, once you see how easy and fun it is, you'll get the urge to do more. You'll vision yourself on "Pimp my Ride"
