Default Loose fabric around seat release? w/ Pics

Hey all,
Not sure if this is the correct spot but here goes...
On my driver and passenger seat, there is the lever that is used to move the seats all the way forward so passengers in the back can get out.

My question is this: the fabric around it isn't secured to anything. I press on the foam of the seat and the fabric simply pulls away from the latch exposing the foam. Is this normal? There aren't any rips or tears, just look as if it was never attached to the lever housing.

I get the same thing but tuck it back in and it's good for a couple days. I figured because I'm not 150lbs that when sitting it pulls it out.

I had no idea if I was alone on this one or not... does seem pretty cheesy to me to have not made a tighter seam or something.

I had the same problem, brought it to the dealer - fixed under warranty. Hope that helps!

BTW, call and schedule an appt in advance so they can order what parts they need to fix it, otherwise you have to go back

I had this problem too. Then I got Katzkin, and after about 4 months of the leather, it does it too. I'm guessing it's the design of it, coupled with me being in the seats too much. I just tuck it back in when it pops out.

i have that too. also on the passenger seat, the fabric is kinda frayed around the mounts for the headrest on the seat.

i didn't expect the fabric to be top notch anyways though.

i'll buy katzkin if it gets bad or i ever tear a seat

Same problem here. I thought i had caused it somehow so I didnt say anything to the dealer. But if its everyone, I want it fixed.

On another note, how about the marks that rain drops leave on the seats?

I wonder if they have the same issue with water spotting. And area near the seat release thing.
