Default Manual Trans shift boot on an automatic

Any idea how to pull this off? I know I have seen this on one members car but i don't remember who it was.

i did it. it was super easy. unscrew and remove the shift ****. pop off the plastic housing around the shifter(silver plastic with the p,d, etc.) then pull off the black plastic piece that sits flat on the same area (it has the 2 pieces on the sides that run into the waterfall). just turn the boot inside out and glue to the inside of the black plastic piece. hard to understand without pictures. sorry but you get the gist. its easy. good luck.

i have done this with the oem manual shift boot...easiest mod ive done to the car so far! pull apart as stated above and snap in oem boot

this is where got my info for doing mine. i tried taping and using a coat hanger but neither would hold so i glued it.

Mine is an auto too.. One of the first to do this.. Just watch out as valet drivers get confused quite easily.
