Default Mechanical Windows?

Haha, I know I'm going to get crucified for this post But I've been really feeling Lotus lately and have been toying with the idea of a flat cf door panel (a la RUF design) with hand crank windows. The weight savings would be close to 50 lbs with motors and wiring. Even in writing this it sounds ridiculous, and I love having power windows, haha!! But the thought of having a 2600 lb Tc enchants me. . .
Anyone else ever thought of this? I did a search and apparently not. I'm the only idiot!

whatever floats your boat i guess. but i personally like the convenience of not having to reach over to the passenger side to open/close the windows.
