Default Modifying bracket so that CD cover closes

I just had a DDX512 installed, but my CD cover won't close. It gets caught on the top of the new deck. I was wondering if anyone had a way that I can fix this?

Thanks

Well I know that on the AVICs, you can drill out different holes in the OEM brackets and the deck sits back a tiny bit farther to let the door close.

its goin to take some muscle, but start pullin the shifter console from the bottom (oh the sides where the silver trim ends), then just pull the main console (the one with the door) from the top and it should all come out, now you can see the unit, the unit is supported by two bolts up top and two screws on the bottom of the bracket... from there you know what to do once you get it out..

Yea, like what was said earlier, the 4 "indents" on the stock bracket need to be drilled in so it will sit flush with the receiver since you're moving it back around half an inch. Then just refit, and do a guess and check if any more drilling needs to be done, but it wasn't necessary on my Pioneer AVH-P4000 install. Good luck .

This is what I did with my f90bt, and it works fine. It was kinda tight prior to cutting out some of the plastic, but now it fits great. It is so close that I can push the outside of the door (when its closed) and it will push the **** in (I can tell cause it beeps at me).
