Default Motorized radio door mod?

I seen somewhere a mod you can install in your tc that automatically opens your radio cover door when you turn the ignition on. Does anyone know where to get one of these? I know its a mod or device that you buy, but does anyone know where to get one>? I have been searching for it and seen it on a website before and can no longer find it, any help will be appreciated thanks

I recall that it was named the tCover or something involving tC and cover, you could try that. Good luck!

For 100 dollars, it's a KILLER DEAL.... if you see one of these things, you'll see how well made and professionally it is set up... and at HIN yesterday, me and the guys kept laughing as people would walk by the car looking in it, then stop, turn around and all point at the door moving.... LoL.... Happened like a hundred times

WELL WORTH IT... and very resonably priced at 100 bucks.

were you turning your car on and off all night?

I have the tCover installed. It is not easy to install, but not very difficult either. You need patience and time. It works really well. Some modification of radio may be needed if you have an aftermarket radio. I have the JVC AVX-1. Had to move the radio back and down some. Everyone loves it. You can set it to stay open, close or to open and close with the ignition. You can also set it to stay closed for "valet" purposes. If anyone needs help, just let me know. BTW, the kit is made really well, parts fit exactly, and it is sold very cheap for what you get.

It has a switch you install with it that will have it do that, if you read the files on their site for the install it talks about the switch, I think.

I'm planning on doing this as soon as I get the $100, and for $100 its quality is almost something you see for 2x - 3x the ammount.

no.. there's a "show" mode that you can have the cover go into.. that opens and closes for that very purpose.

It takes a bit of time, but the end result saves time too! no remembering to flip the little thing.. LoL

And Yes, it has a "Show" mode, which automatically raises and lowers the door every 5 seconds... NIFTY.
