Default to much noise

hey on most of your stuff do you guys have any actualy music in your subs? or is it just base, and if you do have actualy music is it pretty minimal? because i seem to have to much talking/sings/ ect, and i dunno what **** i should use to get it gone? i have the xplod 1200watt amp, theirs on the bass ****, and two other ones but one is something filter, witch way would i rturn it to get the voices to go away?

Read your manual. It sounds like you definately need to change the low pass filter(where its set at.) set it at a lower hrz.

Default blew

it don't matter now i just blew the speakers... lol so much for that, anyone know any 2 12's that would work good with that amp? i had two kicker comps... the yellow ones ya know old school, lol any idea

you blew them int eh span of 12 minutes?

maybe you should read up on amplifier level setting, filter settings, and other such things before you get a new pair of subs. I know i've been researching all that stuff for the last couple of months now and i just ordered my stuff yesterday.

find out the impedence rating of your amp and buy subs based on that and power ratings. did you even have that matched before? also, your hearing music from the subs because your high pass filter isnt on.
