Default My False Floor Setup! Completed Page 1!

Finally completed. Woot!

Setup:
1 Elemental Designs NINE.1
2 Elemental Designs 11.ov2 D-2 subs
1 Oznium Blue Cathode kit
1 custom floor

So i decided i wanted to make a false floor that would still let me keep my spare. So the floor i have is almost like big lego pieces. When i want to take out my spare. All i have to do is move my box, lift up the center piece, and then remove the left piece. Now i have full access to my spare and lift and tools.

Ill get better pictures tomorrow when i start wrapping my parts. Sorry for the crappy cell phone pictures Haha.

These subs sure do pound, i have to figure out how to stop my license plate from rattling.

Yes i know its an overkill but im OCD with wires and i wanted to tuck all of my wires cleanly and neatly.

This is how it looks prior to wrapping.

Failed quality close up of amp behind plexi.

Final product! I added 2 more 4.7" led strips from oznium to add more light under the amp. Then installed 2 superflux LEDS in the corners of the trunk to illuminate the trunk and subs.

Decorated my room with an extra cathode haha

Special thanks to:

MattieG: Thanks Broski! Without you i would be stuck with a crappy setup and no idea how to do the electrical work!
Elemental Designs: For providing a great product! Great prices! And great customer service hope you guys didnt mind me calling you all the time haha.

P.s wth is up with the links below the pictures, failed imageshack haha.

looks good. but i consider a false floor to have the subs in them aswell. not just the amp and then a separate sub box on top. but clean work none the less

Throw a seat in and it would look like you were ready for a day at the track. lol. As for the license plate rattle, go to the hardware store and get 4 pieces of real dense foam, about 1/4" thick. Put 2 on the outside bottom corners and 2 where the holes are on the top to mount the plate. Drill holes for the screws to go through and install. Might have to get longer screws but its cheap and works for me.

I am starting my floor tomorrow and will post up pictures as well, only the amp is going unde rthe floor as well under plexi.got boxes for the subs that area going on top.

I did post a link to simplicity in sound the other day on one of the 3 threads with installs like people area wnating to see.only one or two of them area in a tc or xb but the installs are photographed and very detailed and people can get great ideas on how to build the boxes and such under the floors.

Yeah thats seems like a pretty cool site. Too cold and too much homework to work on the wrapping today. Maybe tomorrow ill have time to wrap everything. I kind of want to add more lighting to the trunk i just dont know where to put it and what to use.

I was looking into El Wire, but im afraid that might be over kill what do you guys think?

Here is what I managed to get done today......if you have never doen a false floor it is time consuming.......

It has along ways to go and a short time to get there........but you know me....I can do it........

Since I used plywod instaead of MDF I have a lot of filling with wood putty to do befroe the primer and suede will go in it .......it also still has to be cut into 3 pieces............when I am doen it will look professional.......

Honestly use the best wire you can afford........buy it once and use it forever, cheap stuff.....well not so easy to reuse as it tend to get issues over time,I spent over $175 just on my wires but I can pretty much use them for a long long time......Knukoncepts has great wires....not any more spendy than the stinger or other wires.......and it is really great wire.

definatly light it up......we are pretty much going for the same setup just differant amps light it up man.....it will look sweet...mine is getting lit up with 2 19" orange LEd strips though the plexi.......big pumpkin.........lol

good choice on the 4guage....gives you room to upgrade and will as it a long long time.....I didi 0/1 for my power as I plan on going over 1200w at some point and want to be sure I got enough wire to push it all as running them once is ahrd enough and twice will suck.....lol

keep the pictures coming......
