Default my fleabay seat covers arrived. pics!

Im a bit dissapointed, the seller said that it was made for the scion however, when it arrived it was obvious it was some kind of universal fit seat. the bottom of the seat doesnt fit right and there is nowehere to anchor the elastic to.

I had to do some mods to the bottom to get it to fit loosely, as opposed to no support at all.

the bottom, still slides around on the seat though, everytime I get in and out of the car, the bottom half moves around. I also had to cut wholes for the seat lever on the side.

picked it up for $90 so its still kind of cheap for covers this nice however.
its still better then the stuff I was looking at in auto zone,

I needed some nice seat covers since Ill be heading to the gym this summer often and dont want to sweat on the stock fabric. but not sure if the seats look alright or not.

thoughts?
keep em or look for better ones?

they actually look quite nice in the pics, but it really bugs me the bottom portion moves everytime I get in and out of the car. maybe I have to break them in?

They would look nice if they fit right... but that's the trouble with eBay... especially with stuff like this. They weren't listed as JDM, were they? Hehe...

nah they arent listed as jdm

i think its a big vendor, that sells outside of ebay,

but these obviously arent scion tc seats. they're kind of like universal fit thingabobs.

oh well, do they look bad enough to just go with stock?

ill just use them for now while im going to the gym.

RnB180 sorry for being blunt, but IMO those seat covers look extremely tacky, cheap, and disgusting.

Click on the names to go to their websites:
Katzkin Leather
Classic Soft Trim

Katzkin's are very popular for our cars. With Katzkins you pretty much get an entire interior. You get the front and back seats, arm-rest, and i believe the mid-panels in the doors and back. I believe to buy and have them professionally install it, its gonna cost between $1000 and $1500

i noticed those covers a few months back on ebay (maybe back in december). well i called them up and asked if they were universal or semi-custom, and they said that they're the universal ones. They said for a little extra money, they would do a semi-custom fit (which is pretty good) only if I sent in the pictures of my seats to them. I didn't do it because it seemed a little shady and I didn't want to waste my money.

they are based out of huntington beach here in so. cal. my friend ordered some for his 4runner and the owner offered to install them for free. i was debating on getting some down the line, maybe i can take them up on an installation so they can see just how well or not well they fit. i think yours look pretty good though.

yea the design looks nice, but i think these covers were designed for a different car,

the front portion doesnt sink in with the bucket seat it looks like it was made for a flat seat.

it would probably look great on flat car seats however.ah well, these are temporary anyway. ill use them for a while and see if they require break in. maybe theyll fit better over time when they settle in.

they definately look better than the generic ones I find in the auto store.

or I may just remove them and use one of those bead seat cushions to protect the seat from my sweat :D

that would be a quick and easy solution.

no prob

I might have them reomoved and just use a seat cushion. my wallet definately wouldve been lighter ah well. Ill give em a week before I decide to leave em. I wanna see if the seats will stretch into a fit for the seat

I think they look nice, although I understand the sliding around can be annoying... I have these
https://www.scionlife.com/forums/vie...ct+seat+covers

They are in no way fancy looking, but they are unobtrusive (most people without scions think they are stock) and they fit well (Except the back bucket seats which sort of hang a tad). They are definitely made for the tc though. Great for protecting the seats, and they were pretty cheap.
