The box is 3.5cuft after displacement tuned to 33Hz.
On to the pics:
Out with the old.....

Lets compare box sixes....

Doesnt look like much lets check out the sub size difference....

Ahhhhhh finally wiggled it into the trunk of my car, with a little finesse...hahaha yeah right, 40" wide my ___, I had to struggle to put that box in, but once its in it fit like a glove...

OOK
First impressions LOUD, oh did I say LOUD??? The bass is let me punch you in the back of your head bass...
With that 12" RE SX, I felt like it hit much lower, since the box was tuned to 32Hz, but I think its all in my mind right now.
I guess I have to wait to let this sub get a little broken in first. Then I'm probably sure it will hit as low, if not lower.
So the sub is dual 2ohm VC, powered by a RF T10001BD amp, birthsheet claimed 1506watts at 1ohm. With my old setup the sub was a dual 4, and that amp put out 1070watts at 2ohm. Sooooo I play the waiting game until the sub breaks in, and hopefully it will definitely kick my butt.
But playing that Mariah Carey song, "shake it off" remix, more things are vibrating now!! Things are vibrating that I didn't know could!
Anyone in Baltimore with a TL mic wanna help me get it metered???

Meh I am more fan of the punch you in the face bass...not back of the head...you sneaky person.
now you can only fit like...a toothbrush in your trunk

I like to keep the bass surges just inside of my car just because in CA, po-po's get mad when you make the ground shake.
Nice set-up bro! Now just wish you won't get a flat tire for you not to get that spare!

i heard the FI's don't like to get very low so it's very possible that your RE 12 plays lower. it might get better with time but some people have been disappointed in how they don't get extremely low.
