My thoughts on a Premier P860MP (review)
I figured I would do a writeup on some of the audio stuff I have bought for my tC incase anyone else was looking at getting the same thing and needed someone's opionion.
Anyway... on with the review. First off is my head unit.. premier 860mp. In a nutshell this HU is awsome. 3 sets a pre-outs, 16 band EQ, 3 levels of sub control, basically everything I want. Anyway... looks I give it a 9/10. It has the motorized face which is cool, and it folds itself down when you turn the car off and beeps at you to remove it.
For functionality I give it a 10/10. It does everything I want it to also. I have my iPod wired to it and the controls are easy, it all runs off of one ****.
For audio controls, it cant be beat. The EQ makes everything sounds nice, i even set the speakers a certain disatance away from the center of the car, making it sound optimal. The difference between quality of the factory deak and this are amazing. And it does everything I want it to do. I paid $319 + shipping from www.ikesound.com. I bought a fit kit from best buy and a wiring harness from walmart, installation total took about 1/2 hour.

Next up is my sub (Infinity Reference 1042w). I was going to purchase a kicker CVR 10, but I had a friend say these sound just as good and are cheaper by about 50 bucks. So I listened to them both and he was correct, they sound just as good. I give the infinity 10 a 10/10 for price to performance value. Its plenty loud for me and does not bottom out very easy at all.

and it leaves me trunk room!

Next on my list os a refurbished Directed Audio 300 watt mono block amp. Basic amp... 300 watts @ 2 ohm. I like it... and for $59 it cant be beat. Once again, 10/10 for price to performance value. and it fitsd nicely under my passenger seat without any isues.

In my doors I have a pair of MB Quart DSE213. They sound awsome. The quality is out of this world and they sound simply amazing. No pictures of these cause I didnt want to take my door panels off so... yea. 10/10. They sound great, nuff said.
All in all I am glad I chose these items for my system.
