Default My Trunk, Subwoofers with custom enclosure *pics*

I was messing around and got bored. I built a subwoofer enclosure and made sure to make use of my math skills.

I believe it fits well with the trunk design.

the next step is to wrap it up in carpet and a little bit of dynamat, then i will be adding plexiglass backs to the enclosures since they are not complete yet, sounds like poo without backs on the boxs. looks nice now, will be great later. you may ask why plexiglass backs? well, sound activated cold cathode tubes. under the amp rack and next to each sub on the inside of the boxes.

while i'm at it, here's a pic of under my hood showing off Dr.I's radiator cover plate that i painted purple

also if you guys have any suggestions on what to do, tell me. also any painting techniques or anything i can put on it to not make acrylic bubble up.

UPDATE:
I finally got some carpet and plexiglass. now all i need to do is have the time. i did the center amp rack already

UPDATE:
Carpeting complete, this is basically how it looks from the trunk. after the plexi is done i post pics from the seats.

i don't know how it looks fake, but i geuss i could take that as a compliment if i think it looks too good to be true. that's a Kenwood Excelon kac-x401m. 1200 watt mono subwoofer amp. pushes 200 watts rms to two subs at 4 ohms. those subs are the kenwood 10s 700 watt peak 175 rms.

Moved to ICE...

Looks good though. But I don't know if I would have put the amp up so high. Too bad you couldn't smooth all of that out and curve it up with some fiberglass...

I agree with some others I think... Looks aiight, original. I only have two comments.
1)with all the $$$ you saved on the custom fab'd enclosure, why'd you go with kenwood?? for a little more money, you could put some nicer subs in there.
2)while the design is unique (show car-esque) it really doesn't make very efficient use of space. And u have no storage (not that I'm one to talk) but if you mounted the amp on back of a rear seat, you could store some stuff back there as well. Do u still have the spare in there? How will u get it out if u get a flat? In fact the only advantage I see is that your rear seats still will recline, a feature neither I nor any of my passengers EVER use in my car.

You get creativity points though. LIKe someone else said, pics look a little funky. TC interior very sharp, sub amp enclosure looks very grainy and pixelated, almost like a photoshop job.

audiobahntc: i like kenwood, it's just something i like. i don't think i cared too much about storage as long as it looks good. i actually have all of that in three pieces so i'm able to move it easily. i can access my spare underneath it, i just disconnect the subs from the amp and push the amp rack back and move the subs out of the trunk. i made it so the seats recline still because i have lots of tall friends and they bump their head on the roof a lot. i can see how it looks fake, i had to reduce the image size and somehow it became a lot lower quality.

ack154: i wanted to show off my amp more than the usuall, i was thinking about having it all smooth with fiberglass, but i have no idea how to and i don't know where to take it and what's not a rip off.

spikeymike78: yes it's warped and i want it to bend back so badly. i don't know what happend. just got too hot i geuss.

and thank you everyone for the comments. i'll post better pics soon. next paycheck is plexiglass and carpet.
