im lookin to buy a Pioneer AVIC-Z1 and im curious if i buy it and install direct form the box, will the wires from the car fit directly into the back of the pioneer Head Unit? or do i need a adpater of some sort? and will the unit fit right in or do i need something special to make it fit nice ly in the hole of the dash faceplate.

No the wires will not plug directly into the back of the radio. you will need a harness that plugs into the car then wire the harness that comes with the deck into the one that you bought to plug into the car.
