Bassforms has about the only ones that do not take up the whole trunk but they are expensive and only fit 10"subs,limited airspace so no monster subs.I have the pair and use Image Dynamics 10"subs in them and they sound great.

there was a major mix up in gettign my boxes and it took 5 weeks. They kept gettign the left one in stock but pack in the right ones box........drove me nuts.

I've seen both designs thank you, I spoke to a sale person from estencial designs and told me about the one BZinn1 is talking about but i would have to removed the stock pre amp sub thats in there right now but i believe its pretty pointless to removed that stock one just to but a 4 inch difference of a sub. thats why im looking for something else that way even if i decide to remove the aftermarket i still have a lil small punch from my stock 6' sub.

Are you sure you looked at these ones

http://www.bassforms.com/ProductDeta...ctCode=BF210TC

sounds like you are looking at this one.

I have had both and both are better than the stock sub by far.the ED set up is a good option for keeping all trunk space.the Bassforms is good buta false floor has to be made to get them to the right height in the car to fit perfect.

I have one with the elemental design box up for sale, loaded with a kicker comp CVT 10" sub. BLOWS away the old sq10 that comes loaded in the box. PM me if your interested.

This thing drops right in your hatch, under the carpet and totally hidden. The kicker comp is a 10x better speaker than the sq10 that came loaded with the box.

Just an FYI, even though a 10" sub is only 4" more of cone space, thats 40% more than you have now and that is with a real sub, not some chincy factory made low power sub. That single 10 will be night and day over the factory sub

I'm also looking at the ed stealth sub. I'm still a bit of a ICE noob so what amp do you guys recommend to go with that sub?

Something that gives a max of 350w at 4 ohms......it really cannot take all of that even but sure gives a cleaner signal with an amp that will go to that at least.

I have no idea why you would want to keep that stock sub... After replacing my front speakers with a set of nice components, that rear "subwoofer" isn't even noticable.

Then it sounds like that stealth setup would be just what you need. Fits the same place as the stock sub and sounds a helluva lot better, but suit yourself
