Default Need help fixing my interior

Okay, so today I had to haul a huge street sign in my little tC. The pole ended up scraping the interior console next to the radio. Any suggestions on how to fix it so my boyfriend won't go completely ape?

It'll have to be painted. Or pay out the ___ for a replacement through the dealer.

It's a long story. I can't even get into it. If I do it'll just tick me off.

Ehhh...what's the point I guess. I've already screwed up the exterior paint. Might as well screw up the inside while I'm at it. Although it was never my intent to do any of these things. But stuff just happens I guess.

Okay so here goes...My company develops properties and so sometimes we offer a prize to name a street in one of our subdivisions. So as a prop we have an actual sign. The freaking thing has a pole that's 7 feet tall and then the cross section on top. So the person from our office who was supposed to deliver it couldn't because she had a family emergency and was trying to get some stuff cleared done before she has to be on the plane in the morning. Me being the company gopher tried to see if the thing would fit in my car and in the process scratched up the console area next to the radio...so that's the story. Kind of retarded. I guess I should have thought ahead and covered that area with something.

Both. It starts on the silver area and then moves to the bezel(is that what that texture is called?). So I've got two fairly long scratches. Probably about 6 inches long on both of them. Any ideas on how much those parts would cost?

Looks like you need a new center control. Found one on ebay

The textured section I am guessing it is your actual dash board, which will be expensive to replace.

Don't put street signs in the tC

It's a little too late to tell me that. Well I looked at the area and it looks like it's a seperate section from the dash. So I'll have to run it to the dealership at some point. Until then I guess I'm just going to have avoid having him ride in my car. He wasn't too happy a few weeks ago when I told him I ran through a fence at school a few weeks ago. I was hoping for a few months between then and my next screw up. Looks like I'll be driving this car into the ground because I can't see anybody wanting to ever buy it. Damnit!

im assuming you have no experience with painting so your options are buy one frmot he dealer (expensive), buy one on ebay or junkyard, get it painted (probably expensive) or do it yourself.. if you are willing to mail the pieces to me then I am willing to paint them for a fee.. ive done this plenty of times and get compliments on my painted center console all the time.. you live anywhere around jersey??

Well maybe I need to move to California. So I'm guessing your friend works at a Junkyard? Is there anyway he can check if he's got any of those parts for me?

And no I am far from Jersey. I live in Texas.
