Default Need help with speaker install

Does anyone know how to wire component speakers on the front doors of a 2010 Tc? The tweeters have about four wires running into them and the 6 in. has a plug that can be removed. Where do I get the -,+ so I can install a better set of speakers?

Thanks for your help.

Ok. I would like to install my audio system which consist of a dvd player, components up front and coaxials out back with an amp and a subwoofer. The only thing I need is help with the installatin of the headunit...I have the wiring adapter but if I am installing it myself do I still use that? If not then where do I get power from? Thanks for the help

yes the harness adapter plus into the factory harness plugs that would normally plug into the factory radio the kicks out color coded wires that you match up with the aftermarket radios wiring harness

this for example(isnt the same harness) plug the factory plugs into the one side the match up the other side with the radios harness

Thanks, ML. Regarding the speaker wires...Am I supposed to connect them to the harness adapter that connects to the factory plug? I also connect the RCA's fr the HU to the amp correct? Then I run speaker wire fr the amp to the speakers right?

you will have to remove(cut off) the harness plug that connects to the factory door speakers, but save it so you cam reverse the process later if you want, if you are going to be running an amplifier to the components then dont cut it just run new wiring from the amp to the speakers

Thanks. I do want run the speaker wire thru the door even tho it will be hard. All I have to do is run the wire from the amp to the hole in the door. To access it I remove the kick panel correct?

I just hopped my tweeter wiring with a spade connector to match the colored wires together and tested phase with a voltmeter and used just the end/final input to wire into my components up front. The rears are as simple as can be. Both take 6.5" if I'm not mistaken.
