Default Need a suggestion for an amp to power fronts & sub

Hey all. I'm looking for a good option to consolidate my amps into one unit. I currently have a 2-ch for my front speakers and a mono for my sub. I've seen 5-ch with the dedicated sub channel, but the prices (and/or sizes) of the amps aren't appealing at all.

I'd like a small-ish 4-ch that I could bridge the rear channels to go to my sub. I'll most likely be using an Alpine Type-R 10" as I already have one. I'd like to mount the amp under the passenger seat if at all possible. I like my bass, so if I can't fit a proper amp under the seat, that's fine.

Let me know what you think!!

Yeah that was helpful, anyways just find an amp that when you add the rms of 2 chs together it equals the recommended rms for the type-r which I believe is 200(been awhile since I've looked at alpine stuff.)

Haha it's cool, he's a friend just messing with me.

And I guess I'll look into that suggestion. Thanks!

I suggest getting a 4ch amp for your speakers and a dedicated mono/ 2ch amp to your sub.

The only problem with the alpine type-r is that its power hungry. If you are concerned about hiding the amps, there is a thread where they took the amps and put them behind the plastic panels where the rear speakers are. With that sub I would not recommend using one amp for the front speakers and a sub.

If size is a factor you should look at the Alpine PDX series.
