Default Needed: 08 tC wiring diagram for stock amp / sub

What I've got so far:
yellow = +
black = -
orange = remote wire
the rest are all speaker level from the front. What I'm really searching for is what each of the speaker level input wires that already go to the stock amp/sub are. For example, green = RF+, red = LF+... I've searched and searched and have not found this. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I can take a pic of what I'm doing so far that's working, but, I have no idea if it's exactly right. It works, but who knows.

ok I have no idea what you are trying to say here but I got a couple things that might help. Are you trying to hook up and aftermarket head unit (as in not stock)? If so quit messing with the wires and go to walmart and buy the schoshe wiring harness sold for toyotas, on the back it will say it works for the xa and xb, it also works perfect on the tc but I guess they dont know that. If you are just trying to hook up an amp to the stock pioneer headunit splice into the gray wire to use as your "remote wire" for the amp turn on. hope that helped, if not try to explain what you need a little better lol because I was lost

Sorry. I have the SNS and I took out the stock sub in my car. I'm trying to use the speaker level inputs that are already run for the stock amp/sub. The wires are there already for the amplifier, I just don't know which wires are which besides the one's I've mentioned above. I want to make sure I get the best possible sound, and knowing the correct wires would help a lot. I want to know the positive and negatives for the speaker level inputs that are there. I guess I could take apart the stock amp and find it on the circuit board. I have an Alpine amp with speaker level inputs, and I've already made some guesses about the wires and have found something that works. I'm getting everything right through the stock harness in the trunk. It'd be so much easier to explain this with a picture... I'll take one later on tonight.

oh ok i see what you are doing.you are using the speaker wire to send the signal to your amp instead of the rca connections. doing this will not give you a good quality sound but it will work. Im not sure how you will find wich wire goes to what but I might suggest a test light if you have one. If I were you I would invest in a new headunit with rca outputs to run to the amp. I have an alpine for sale with direct ipod connection, $200 shipped. I havent advertised it yet.

lol, I spent 2k on my scion navigation... I'm not throwing it out for quite a while for that much... but yeah. The wiring is already ran to the trunk from the stock sub/amp, but I guess I could go directly to the back of the HU. I just wanted to take the easy route with the ones that are already back there.

2k on a navi?!! that thing better have rca outputs somewhere. try to find those first just for the fact of having higher quality. its easy to take that dash piece off anyways, pops right out. well hope you figure it out, lemme know how it goes

I've had it out already to enable the dvd's while driving. It doesn't have any RCA's other than a video output. I would imagine if I took it apart, there's connections there, but I don't have the guts for that so soon after getting it all. Other than that slight hiccup though, I'm pretty happy with the unit. I'm pretty tech savvy, and I understand what's going on, I'm just unsure of how to determine the correct wires without running a new set from the HU.

btw, I just took a look and I'm looking for the pink, white, blue, and black wires... They go directly to the stock amp on the 08 tC's. Which wires are what. What I've guessed already is the blue and black are negatives, and white and pink are positives... This is based on the layout of the plug.

hmm...well the only thing i can think of wich should give you all the answers you need is buying the harness wire connector at walmart for $6 bucks, although you are not gonna use it, you can hook it up to your stock harness it and will tell you exactly what wire goes to what speaker and if it is positive or negative. Understand what Im trying to get at? It will work because it is all labeled to convert the wiring to the new headunit.

On the 2006 harness they are different colors....but they say where each wire comes from on it. pull back the crap holding all the wires together and see if you can read where the wires came from. i cant see why they would do this on the 2006's but not the 2008's. i tried to take a picture. but my crappy cell cam couldnt get the writing on the tiny wire.

also, do you have a speaker laying around anywhere? put your balance on the left only and use the speaker to find out which 2 wires get you sound.

So we're clear, I'm talking about the harness that's in the trunk of the car that goes directly to the amp. But, I like the iea of trying the speaker to determine the right and left channels. How would I determine polarity though? As far as the wires being labled, I din't see anything when I was looking, but I'll have to go back and check a little harder tonight. Normally I'd just look up what the stock front speaker wires are, but the wires don't line up with that. Who knows.

Yeah. I'm pretty sure its the same harness. mine plugged directly into the bazooka. the wires were ground power remote turn on and FL+/- and FR+/-

Well you said the blue and black are negatives and the white and pink are positive. So now you just need to figure out the left and right.
