It is Flint MICA for a reason. Mica is the same thing that goes into pearl paints and reflect the light the way it does. It's in BSP as well. It's prolly really not THAT much, but the way it catches light makes it look that way.

That's a good paint job, btw.

well i know its in there lol i have the color on my car but i didn't realize it until you actually see it wet and coming out. its just purdy

NOOO! You dont realise it untill your mixing the paint and you see how much flakes you have to put in. Its like maybe 6 t spoons in the whole car. Maybe 8

nice stuff, Neb. since you're a painter, do you know if they make a silver version of flint mica. that sounds weird, but what i'm saying is a silver colored paint that has that glitter ____ in it like our FM paint. I like your hvac there, but my car "theme" has silver accents in the seats and door panels, shift **** and e-brake. I want to paint my hvac, but definitely need to keep it silver and i'd like something different than the stock color.

also, what do you paint? are you a pure painter or an artist as well? my brother's company makes goalie masks and helmets and is always looking for good artists/painters.

i was actually being sarcastic i have no idea how they make it

body shop here in town about 30 bucks a can for paint and about 15 bucks a can for the clear.

maybe but this is a special automotive clear not the crap you can get at auto zone and yes any body shop should be able to do it but if they can't i know there are places you can order it online

I think painting the interior is fugly BUT , Neb . You did it right ! That is VERY nice . Very classy . Not , well , you know .....rigged . That is sweet . I would love to do mine now . I am not a painter though . I have a buddy that paints for a living . Wonder if he could do it right . WOW ! N ice look and kudos to you !!!!!! AWESOME

well i've moved on to clear finally and now i'm gonna let it cure a bit before i work with it more. and with the clear wow its impressive. i'll get some pics tomorrow morning once i put it in.
