im sure that all of you have seen those little pillows/neck pillows that are really soft due to having all those little beads in them. Well I now have one as an arm rest.




it is extremely soft as you can see how it forms around my fingers

 

Does it come in black? That looks comfortable for the long hauls.

 

yeah they are lots of colors

be for warned though....the beads are very messy

yes i gutted the pillow and redone the armrest accordingly

 

this will make a huge mess so i recommend doing this out side if you plan on doing it

Ya like someone said it looks if you really leaned on it it would really displace all the beads and become deformed. Plus if I was feeling that on a long haul it would def put me to sleep.

 

you dont lose any space and you wont displace the beads if you stiff enough of them in there. This is the second time I have done it and I jammed a lot more beads in there this time.

 

But isnt that fabric from the pillow really soft/flexible? Do you think it could rip at all? Thatd be a hilarious car accident scene if it did. Beads al over the place and what not.
None the less I love those pillows.

 

yeah your right it is a stretchy material. i have not had any problems with mine. I used two layers of, it you just use one layer then you will see a lot of bumps.

 

Oh, well good job . Thats a pretty neat accent color, I wouldnt mind seeing some other parts that color as well. can we say custom seats?!

 

Front bucket futons? No thanks. Now a rear seat... that's an idea...
