So about 3 days of labor and hanging out with the Doc, we've finally completed my new subwoofer setup!
Pics are just whatever for the time being, and yes my car is filthy. MDF and carbon fiber sawdust gets everywhere.
Enjoy!

At Night:

Junk In The Trunk:
- CDT Audio QES-1220 12" Subwoofer
- Alpine PDX-1.1000 Digital Power Amplifier
- AudioControl EPICENTER
- Memphis 17-1CBFMT 1 Farad Stiffening Capacitor w/Digital Monitor Top
- Monster Cable MicroXLN RCA Cables
The top of the enclosure is overlaid with a sheet of carbon fiber I had purchased for a different project that didn't fall through.
Dr.Isotope is the MAN!

UPDATE 7/30/08
Been getting a couple of PMs on what it looks like underneath the c/f.
Pics During Install.

Thanks for the comments everyone!
It sounds amazing. We built the box specifically for the CDT subwoofer.
Subwoofer specs can be found here:
http://www.buycdt.com/PDFs/QES-1220.pdf
And it should sound even better once the sub is fully broken in.
Ayeeee, last time I added this up it slapped myself in the forhead.... but in the end it is definataly worth it.
These are all rounded up to the next dollar.
4' x 6' Sheet of Carbon Fiber - $465
Wood/Screws/Misc. - $250
Amp - $470
Sub - $440
Epicenter (already owned) - $160
Capacitor - $130
RCA Cables - $46
________________
Rough Total - $1961 (and that's w/out tax or shipping prices included)
