I was browsing through the Toyota website the other day and scooping through the camry. (Wtf was I thinking) Anyways, as an accessory, they have an vip alarm with the engine starter all on the key. Now if I wasn't reading wrong, I though I saw on a post that the carmy and the tc keys are the same? Correct me if I am wrong please. So here's my question, can that alarm/remote start system be brought and installed into a TC because I want the remote funcitons to stay on the key but with a remote starter. Btw, yes my car is an auto... :-/

 

I'm sure someone somewhere could make it work. All they do is cut the key to fit and you need the micro chip that came in your scion key, it should be put in the new camry key...

My dad has that alarm on his camry and it is very sensitive unlike my scion security. I wish I had it but oh well. Let us know what happens.


Try the dealerships first but they may be reluctant to do it i dunno.
