ya their kinda full of ____, pretty much everyone on this forum has removed a factory hu and put in an aftermarket one and i doubt any of us are "circuit city trained professionals". It takes a bit of work and know how but go to cruchfield.com and you buy a wireing harness and a installation bracket (maybe) and it even comes with instructions on how to take apart your dash and put in your new stereo and they have free comsomer service if you get stuck. check them out, what kind of car do you have anyway

can u explain "upgraded system?" I had my HU put in at Circuit City this fall. The only thing I had to bring them was a HU mount kit because they dont have one for tC. I sat and watched the guy do work and he swapped out HU's in like 15 min.

They are full of ____ wherever they are telling you this. Get your car and take it somewhere else. You dont want tards working on your car.

The wire harness for the cd player. Go to best buy or circuit city and look for wire harness. Search under "Toyota"

I'm curious.. how is he going to hookup the sub to a new amp? obviously he's going to have to splice into the connector made for the scion deck and then how would it connect?

How much was this "Scion Upgrade"? I have a funny feeling that your dealer burned you because it sounds more like a "dealer-added accessory" then an "upgrade". Some (not all!) dealers are adding their own 'options' (leather seats, stereo upgrades, different alarms, etc.) because they don't make very much $$$ off the tC. Not trying to sound mean, just curious is all.

yea IDK about the scion system upgrade! I think its a dealer upgrade that they do there! I went to my local delaer to get my free oil change and was looking around in the other tC's and one of them had the eclipse avn! BI*CHes! But they added like 2k on the note for that!

The JBL upgrade is only in certain regions.... you can see it on the Scion website if you type in the correct initial zip code that carries that speaker upgrade

Oh yea ive been to that circuit city before
its fun to go in there and just listen to some of the stuff they try to pull
these guy on here are correct you just need the harness and the mounting bracket.
actually i have two harness one from my HU with a universal end and one to connect to the car's harness with a universal end and just hook them together. Didn't have to cut or splice a single wire, and yea i have a silver tc with a spoiler and bodykit. i live off Dale Mabry so i probley have seen you around some time or another. Are you going to be doing any big upgrades? if so, pm me
